Hola friends and neighbors

How is everyone making it without me? Oh you did not notice I have been absent huh? haha I am moved in but still finding things and sorting through stuff. Stopped by Home Depot yesterday and got some more OSB board and 2x4s to work on finishing up the shop walls. Still no pics uploaded yet but I do have them loaded to the laptop, just have to make time to get the internet service started out there. I think to get the wireless I will have to get a tower and have found a 20 ft section a friend has he is willing to give me. I may just get the dialup since I am seldom having time to be online anymore anyway. I have been making it by a few of your blogs and hopefully will make the full rounds this morning as I sit here killing time at work....just think of it as getting paid to blog haha

I met an old friend from HS on Mothers day. Dana was at church and seated right behind me with my Uncle and his newish wife (I think they have been married for 6 months and I still have not called her Aunt Patti yet lol.....anyway Dana, who is two years younger than me just married Patti's son so not only did we graduate from the same school we are related haha. Great to see and visit with her and her sons and sure glad they were there at my parents for Mothers day dinner later that day as they helped me entertain Sasha (my 7 yr old Russian nephew.....ok ok he is American now but is adopted from Russia).

Did something Friday I have not done in probably 6-7 years. I played volleyball at the community center about a half mile or so from my house. Boy I just thought I was in shape. The sand is about 8-10 inches deep so needless to say I got quite a workout. I am going to start playing every friday I think and hopefully get into shape more. I am down now to around 206 lbs which makes for a total of 56 lbs lost in the last year and half or so. Slowly making progress again but as we all know the more we lose the harder it is to lose that last bit of flab. I am getting there though.

Guess I should not overdo it since I have not blogged in a while so now to close this and get around to more of your blogs.

stealing internet

So here is my first attempt at a blog from the new home. I still have not taken the time to check into internet service options out here yet. I am slowly getting things organized though. I need to prime the closet and utility room tomorrow morning and be ready to paint them so I can start really getting organized with shelf space and not having clothes piled on the bed haha.

I bought a new push mower today. I do plan on getting a small tractor or maybe a ZTR mower sometime very soon but the push mower will keep the vitals mowed until then.

I have not uncovered the “Camera to computer” connection so no uploaded pics just yet. I should find that one tomorrow sometime lol. I took some neat pics of a car belonging to my dads cousin. She is 89 years old and just had hip replacement surgery (talk about determined haha) and dad had brought her car out to keep it safe while she is in the hospital. Why do I say keep it safe? Ever hear about those stories where someone happens across a really low miles car, belonging to lil ol lady……well hers is a 1976 Chevy Nova which she bought new in 76. She has amassed all of 41982 miles on this car !!! I drove it a few miles yesterday and boy does that thing ride and drive good. I am hoping years down the line to be the owner of this little untouched gem.

Anyway I should close and save this and get ready for work. I will try to make it by a few of your blogs tonight at work if possible but if I cannot or don’t comment please don’t think I have forgotten about any of ya. :P
