ALCS game 6, going BACK to the World Series

Nice little double for Murphy to plate Napoli!
As you can maybe figure out, I made another trip to Arlington to watch some baseball Saturday October 15th and lo and behold the Rangers won it big and garnered another trip to World Series. After the Cardinals clobbered the Brewers on their home field, the stage is set for Wednesday night......St Louis hosts the first two, then to Arlington for gasmes 3,4, and 5 on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. I may try to score a seat for game 3 on Saturday. :)
Our own Rangers fell behind early thanks to two solo shots served up by Dutch Holland but he got some big time breathing room in the bottom of the 3rd in the form of a 9 run inning in which 13 men went to the plate before it was all said and done. Michael Young had two 2-run doubles in one inning!! He would also later add a solo homer. Glad to see potentially this years MVP break out of his slump. Final score when the dust cleared was Texas 15 (yes 15) to the Tigers 5.

We've won the pennant races
Been to the series called World
This year brought brand new faces
As we give it another whirl..
We do believe in miracles
But still have to see to believe
God blessed Texas, with His own hands
Lets hear some noise all you Rangers fans!!
Ian and Elvis showed us how to dance,
Miss a pitch to Murph he will put it in the stands
I've been sent
to spread the message
Hmmmmmmm God blessed Texas!!
Michael Young lit the scoreboard
While Napoli and Josh took them deep
Then Cruz showed off his boomstick
For all the world to see
Now all the world knows
Wash works in mysterious ways
We had a days rest
Then on the very next day.....
God blessed Texas
and their awesome fans
Whooped the Tampa Bay Rays
Even the Tigers couldn't stand
We took first place
Heard the NA-PO-LI chants
If you wanna win the series
well here's your second chance
Ive been sent
to spread the message
Even Dirk loves Texas!!
