Weekend ahead, bring it on!

Looking forward to the coming weekend (3 day for me since I took Sunday night as my last vacation day of 2012). Heard a good message from Bro. Edwards at EPBC tonight. Really enjoy Wednesday nights bible study with them and surprised to see so few in the community attending Wed night services in one of the largest Baptist churches in the city. He concluded the book of Joshua tonight. Not sure which book is next on the agenda but i am sure it will be a learning experience. Found out one of my friends from church recently found out she received some of the same batch of steroid shots that have been in the news lately so have definitely been praying for her. Also prayers for family of a friend from Tennessee who recently passed away due to complications from heart transplant surgery. So many needing prayer and healing now as well as our COUNTRY needing the healing hand of God as we come into election season. Please pray for a return to what this country was founded on. Freedom OF religion not freedom FROM religion as so many zealots try to pursue now days.

Faithful God

I was having a rough time Saturday evening and was questioning a lot of things via a discussion with a friend through texts and my awesome God spoke to me several times the next morning and let me know He was still in charge and His plan was on His time schedule. So thankful for my church family and friends and for my kiddos I have been entrusted with in the Loft. Those 4th and 5th graders do not realize that I learn so much from them haha. Had a wonderful lunch after church with about 12-15 of our loft and garage crew at a wonderful little hole in the wall place in Denton called Mi Ranchito on Ft Worth drive. I had seen this place many times and had thought about stopping but never had. Angela mentioned they were going there to eat after service and asked if I would like to join. Very good food and very reasonably priced too. From the pics on the wall Adam Sandler had even dined there before. I most definitely will be back!
