Never Let Go

One of my favorite songs I first heard while going to Cross Timbers Community Chruch in Argyle. "Never Let Go" by Matt Redman

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death
Your perfect love is casting out fear
And even when I'm caught in the middle of the storms of this life
I won't turn back, I know you are near

I will fear no evil
For my God is with me
And if my God is with me
Whom then shall I fear
*WHOM THEN SHALL I FEAR*

OH no You never let go through the calm and through the storm
Oh no, You never let go in every high and every low
Oh no, You never let go, Lord, You never let go of me

And I can see the light that is comin' for the heart that holds on
A glorious light beyond all compare
And there will be *AN* end to the struggles
But until that day comes, we'll live to know You here on *THE* Earth

And I will fear no evil
For my God is with me
And if my God is with me
Whom then shall I fear
*WHOM THEN SHALL I FEAR*

OH no You never let go through the calm and through the storm
Oh no, You never let go in every high and every low
Oh no, You never let go, Lord, You never let go of me

*You keep on loving and you never let go*

OH no You never let go through the calm and through the storm
Oh no, You never let go in every high and every low
Oh no, You never let go, Lord, You never let go of me

And i can see a light that is coming for the heart that holds on
and there will be and end to the struggles
but until that day comes
*STILL I WILL PRAISE YOU
STILL I WILL PRAISE YOU*

ALCS pics

Pretty cool shot with Jack Ingram, Dirk Nowitski, Rusty Greer and John Wetteland all in one shot.

Rangers saves leader John Wetteland throwing out first pitch to one of the all time fan favorite Ranger Rusty Greer.

Nelson Cruz trying to show off his boomstick. Later in the game he would get his 6th homerun of the ALCS to set the all time record!! 13 rbi's in a single ALCS is also a record.

Rick Porcello staring in for the sign against last years MVP Josh Hamilton

Do you think Dirk Nowitski is giving Josh Hamilton any tips while he is on deck? Yes Dirk is turned in this picture but he is there lol

Ian Kinsler doubling down the line.

Elvis Andrus going down and getting one. Love these action shots when you can see the ball in play.

Looking forward to the Texas Rangers 2nd consecutive trip to the world series starting Wednesday. I may get a ticket for Saturdays game in Arlington, still not sure yet. Last year I made it to two world series games.....they won one and i was also there for the final game when Giants won it all. Sad but still cool to be there for it anyway.

Hangin on

Times in Life
by Linda Lee Elrod

There are times in life

When you feel as if the earth

Has opened up

And swallowed you whole . . .

And you seriously doubt

If you'll ever stop hurting.

And it's then that you need

To realize you can't

"Make everything all right."

All you can do is survive,

One hour at a time,

Then one day at a time.

But you are not alone.

There are many who care about you

And are ready to lend you their strength

When yours is all gone.

So hang on, because the sun

Will rise again . . .

And though you'll

Never forget,

You will survive this

And go on.

Faith refocus

Considering the influence of your mind on your life, it's no surprise Paul emphasizes that in order for our lives to be changed by Christ our thoughts must first be changed by Him: Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will (Romans 12:2). How are we to be transformed? By renewing (changing, refocusing) our minds so that they reflect the mind of Christ.

I am still a work in progress.....He's not finished with me yet :)

Rangers ALDS win

Had a blast Saturday evening watching my Rangers roll to a win to even the American League Division Series at 1-1 against the Tampa Bay Rays. I did not take many pics once the game got underway this time. I did learn though, while waiting outside the Ballpark, that you can clearly see the jumbo screen inside the Cowboys stadium right next door. Texas A&M was playing Arkansas the same day. For any Razorback fans out there......well you know lol.
Coach tossing some BP
I love to see the little fans

I also like to see the slightly older fans....... ;)

One of my young friends favorite players.....i doubt she knows where he plays she just thinks he is cute lol

Rangers fell behind early but rallied back to an 8-6 victory. One of the main reasons was Mike Napoli. This guy has become a clutch player for the Rangers this season. The stadium was chanting his name as he delivered the tying RBI as well as throwing out fleet footed Upton trying to steal 3rd base. I hope the Rangers keep this guy, he has provided a nice boost with 30 homers and not even playing a full season. Now if the Rangers can steal at least one win in Tampa Bay maybe I will make my 2nd year in a row to the ALCS games :)
