Broken together

Casting Crowns has a newish song out right now called Broken Together. The song is about a married couple which differs from my situation but the feelings and emotions are much the same.....how I wish we could be "broken together....."

Wrestling with God

In Genesis 32, Jacob wrestled with God and held on to Him until He blessed him. Jacob did not give up until he had Gods blessing but in the process of gaining this blessing, God touched Jacob's hip socket which left Jacob with a lifelong reminder of this blessing as he walked with a limp the remainder of his days. God's blessings are great but at times they do come with a price but are always worthwhile. Sometimes all we gotta do is hold on.

First day service Legacy Church

In the morning is our very first day of actual church services at Legacy Church in Argyle. Looking forward to this new journey/mission. Regular services every Sunday except for the first Sunday of each month we will be going out into the community and giving back to the people, whatever that may entail. I know and trust God will guide us to the needs He wants us to meet. Excited about this new beginning :)

Not my strong suit for sure but something God is working into my life. I pray for it daily and nightly.
