Just one short message...

Its funny how one short message from a certain someone can brighten my day then a few messages later im totally confused about her feelings. Its so hard to remember patience but its something I have definitely learned to deal with a lot more in the past few years. I know God will bring the right one into my life when its time :)

Had a blast last weekend with the older youth at #Consumed13 conference in Grapevine. Got to see some of my kids who had moved on up the ast few years I have been volunteering and made some new friends with some of the leaders as well. I feel so blessed to being led by God to volunteer more and more of my time for His kingdom! The Holy Spirit was definitely in the building as the kids worshipped and praised God!

In a few weeks we will be moving into the temporary buildings at church which means we will be splitting the 1st thru 5th graders up again. In a way I can see it working a little better but in a way it makes me sad as I have come to know and adore so many of these kids and when this starts i might not be seeing them very often now. I know God has a big plan ahead for me and i can see the edges of it starting to form occasionally. :)

Wow

So I took my last 3 days of vacation to do some riding thru the Hill Country and talk to God along the way. As I was talking (and listening) my mind kept drifting to one person (actually 3 people) from my past and I admit I still would love to see them back in my life. I prayed that if it be God's will this restoration might happen soon. As I was on my way back today I was taking lots of different backroads, some I had traveled before, while others were new to me. As I was coming up through Bridgeport, I was thinking that's where her ex husband used to live but as I passed through for some reason another person from my past crossed my mind. It just so happens she lived nearby and much to my shock when I got back to Paris I had a FB message from her. It had been several years. Hoping to have a nice visit with her tomorrow :) before heading down to Grapevine for an awesome weekend watching and working with our 6th and up kids from church.

So blessed I am
