Getting spiked on....and what is normal anyway?

Well I have been busy still but still making time for some fun. We had a very fun night of volleyball friday night. David who gets everyone together for this had went to a local pub before heading out to play this week. Lets just say he might have stayed at the pub a BIT too long. It was quite comical to watch for sure and I must say we were all sore from laughing so much all through the night. I think I have my team together for our little tourney coming up in a few weeks......only problem is none of the other 3 players have played volleyball in probably 6 years or more. We really dont have much of a chance to win of course but its not all about winning (never thought I would type those words). The tourney is 4 on 4 double elim with rally scoring (if anyone knows what all that means lol) so we will get to play at least 2 games woohooo haha. Last year there were only 4 teams show up though. Its just a small benefit to help the local community center stay open and pay the electric bill.

I have started a tiny bit on my new job. Had a few days of the weekend where I was in charge and the department did not blow up or anything so I guess so far so good haha. We have one supervisor for all three shifts and I work really well with him (and used to play against him in volleyball btw many years ago haha) I feel like this job might possibly be easier than I had thought before but it also depends on any new people coming in and how they gel with people I already have. The guys already on my shift all basically do their jobs without being told what needs to be done anyway so that makes it a lot easier. For the most part I feel they accept me as a replacement for the current lead man and in some ways are glad I got the job. I can even see me possibly moving to 1st shift in the same job as they open up with retirees in the near future. Not sure I would like 1st shift that much though after working 3rd all these years but it would lead to what "most people" call "normal" hours.

I'd tell you what normal is but I have NOOOOOOOO freakin clue!

I use to participate in pub teams for sports. What a blast that was. I miss doing that.

Hope you're having a great day ;o)
