New truck,storms, rain and friends

There is nothing better than the encouragement of a good friend.

Yes it has been a while since I made it round these parts. Had a few dates since then....nothing major.. just realizing women have no right at all to complain about men acting oddly......and I shall leave it at that.

I did get a new (to me) truck since my last post. 2004 quad cab Z71 Chevy and liking it immensely so far. Is it possible for vehicles to have emotions? haha My 1996 Yukon seems to be acting kinda sully since I got the Z71. Went out to crank it up earlier and it refused to start. It has never refused to start before. Maybe it was feeling betrayed and left behind since I have been spending time with this new truck. My Yukon is jealous and I dont know what to do. Think Dr Laura could help me out with this one? I am sure I would get hung up on right? haha. (no i dont listen to Dr Laura but was cycling through the XM stations earlier and she was on one of them)

I may possibly be going to Ohio for a week to assist one of our other plants with the launch of SAP(basically a new computer networking system we have recently went to) so hopefully it will warm up there by the end of April haha. If I do get to go it will be 6 glorious days in the metropolis of Napoleon Ohio..........never heard of it you say? Its south of Toledo and a bustling population of less than 10k lol

Can it rain much more this spring? This has been a very wet Texas spring for sure and the grass is growing super fast right now. It has just started raining (storming actually) once again here. Earlier today in west Texas they supposedly had hail the size of softballs. I would imagine these might hurt just a bit if they hit the noggin.......or anywhere. Hopefully since its almost dark here and cooling off the chance of hail will lessen considerably. Largest I have ever seen in this area was between golfball and tennis ball size I guess. Was not much of that but it sure tore up some cars at the local dragstrip that time. Tore a friend of mine up pretty well also. Picture a young man trying to hurriedly jump into his prized race car.....stretched out over the roll bar trying to slide in.....and a hail stone caught him square on the family jewels......we still joke about it some but none of us would ever wish that on anyone........except maybe Obama haha.

Rambled enough for now. Hope everyone is doing well and I made the rounds to most everyones blog from work last night but wasnt in a commenting mood. In case you have a counter and are looking at IP addresses the KC Missouri guest was me haha.

Hey Brad! It is so good to see a new post and know that you are doing well.

I heard about the storms there on the news this morning. We are waiting on terrible storms to hit here as well. It has been raining a lot here lately but we need it because we are still down in our rain totals from the drought.

You take care and stay safe!
