Rain rain go away...

Looking forward to our Easter celebration this Saturday and Sunday at Cross Timbers Community Church in Argyle. Last year at Easter I was really just getting to know more of the kids but now I have been serving them about 15 months and its so nice to see ones who have moved on up that still recognize me and getting to chat with them in the lobby or even out and about around the area. I am so glad God gave me this "work" to do for my church. I think I have missed one sunday with them in 15 months :) I feel I miss out if i am not there with them. God sure knows what he is doing!! I hope the 30-40% chance of rain holds off until Saturday night anyway so the kids (and us volunteers) can enjoy the festivities of our Easter celebration outdoors :)

I have my first actual paying customer scheduled for 1230pm Thursday. I went this afternoon and set my massage room up at All About You Salon in Paris and am ready to get started. So far only 2 appointments on the oks but several of the ladies at the salon have already said they were for sure scheduling with me. I started my facebook business page today https://www.facebook.com/BradStoneMassage#!/BradStoneMassage and am going to work on my free page thru ABMP soon. Got a few more old car parts sold as well and looking forward to getting them out of my shop as I try to simplify (organize) my life. I am loving this new found energy and extra pep in my step. :) Now if I nly that special someone i keep praying for to join me in this walk through life. God has a plan though and I know she will be revealed at the perfect time!

What are dreams anyway?

Why do we dream? I had a very cool dream where I was at a public function that seemed almost like a family gathering but it was in a public place. I saw someone from my recent past there and after passing by several times she finally walked up and asked if I had time to walk with her. We proceeded to walk to a more remote part of the area and had a great heart to heart talk and got a lot of stuff out in the open. I had not felt this at ease towards this person since very early on in our relationship after meeting her so needless to say it was very nice. On a possibly related note, our church, Cross Timbers Community Church in Argyle is having our Easter celebration in just over a week (public place with my church family) and I am looking forward to serving and fellowshipping with our kids and their parents. Its always great to see them having fun! I am also getting to help with a local mission trip this weekend doing cleanup and maintenance at a local mobile home community in Denton or Keller. Our mens group "UpRising Men of Action" is joining up for this cause. I am so glad my work schedule allows me to do this type of stuff. I have my first official massage appointments scheduled for the coming week also, so I will need to get my stuff moved to All About You salon so I can be ready to start making some extra $$.

What a sound

I cannot explain how it felt to see that smile and hear that voice as you came into church tonight. Its been 3 years since I had ACTUALLY heard your voice and needless to say I smiled so big. I am sure I looked like a fool but I do not care I loved it :) I have "heard" your voice quite a few times in the last 3 months but that was all in my head although seemed so real a few times. Wow!! Funny how the small things turn out to be the big things.....seems like i recall that in someones home hanging on a wall. I miss you!

I just have to wonder what you think when you visit my blog. I am seeing a few more recent visitors and just curious as to what you (anonymously) think when you visit here. (I really am missing a certain someone and her someones...) I just spent a few hundred bucks getting supplies to start my massage business. I will soon be massaging part time in the afternoons at All About You salon in Paris, Tx. Looking forward to applying my knowledge and hopefully helping some clients out with relaxation and possibly releiving some pain or helping with mobilization. Come on up and mention you saw it on the blog and i might just give ya a half price massage :) (for one blog visitor it will be free should she show up :) )

Renewed energy

I have decided to go all holistic on my dental care......geez I did not know it would be THAT expensive though but I can already tell a difference in my energy levels (not JUST from the dental work done so far ). I had a couple of mercury fillings removed from my teeth last week and replaced with NON mercury fillings as well as starting on Isotonix all natural multi-vitamin as well as their vitamin C. I must say the increased energy has already resulted in about a 3-4 lb loss in weight already and just overall better mood too. Not that I have been in a bad mood at all lately but I feel more focused. Sunday was a bit different than recent Sundays at church, as the kids seemed a bit extra energized as well but nothing we could not work through. Luckily Jennifer came over from the other room to help us out since so many of our recent volunteers seem to forget they made a commitment to help out. I cannot imagine NOT getting that hour or so with those kids each Sunday myself :) As I came in to service at the 5pm service I saw Jo had me teamed up with Charity on the left side. Little did I know how much of a workout that in itself would be shuffling down those outside rows as so many sit on the inside few seats haha. All good though and even seen a few familiar(friendly?) faces in the crowd and it was actually very nice just to say "hello how are you" as one of the ladies left. I really do miss that family being in my life and for some reason it almost feels like the sermons and messages friends have sent lately all have same subject at the root. That subject is the word WAIT. I am learning SO much about waiting and patience lately haha.
